Financial Information

Our Mesquite Minister's Association benevolence fund is funded by contributions from the member churches.  The contributions will run from $10.00 to $30.00 on a monthly basis with the suggested contribution being at least $10.00.

Checks are made out to Mesquite Minister's Association and sent to: PO BOX 870512 Mesquite, TX 75187.

Who can beneficiate and Where can they get a voucher? - Funds are distributed via the Blue Referral Card, which is cleared by the Jail Sergeant on duty at the Police Department. The Sergeant issues a voucher for either $15.00 in gas or $20.00 in groceries. The applicant is to receive help one time a year only. 

Where can they redeem the voucher? - At the Minyard store on 4414 Gus Thomasson for Groceries and at the Bruton Road Mobil on Bruton Rd and I-635 for Gas. 

Who hands the Certificates for Vouchers? - Each Participant Church will issue the "certificates" for vouchers after carefully screening the applicants for need.  It is not recommended nor safe to hand out cash, only vouchers.

Each Church should limit to one voucher per month.
